Trazo Alto was born from a singular conviction: that fine art should not be confined to gallery walls. Founder and visual artist Jaime Díaz envisioned a different kind of gallery — one that moves, that travels, that arrives at breakfast tables and boardroom meetings and mountain retreats.
Díaz is a multidisciplinary visual artist born and raised in Puerto Rico, whose work spans large-scale public murals, gallery installations, and intimate canvas works. His practice is rooted in the visual language of the Caribbean — vibrant, layered, and alive with cultural memory. Over the past decade, Jaime has transformed public spaces across the island, bringing color and narrative to communities that rarely see themselves reflected in fine art institutions. With Café Trazo Alto, he extends that mission into everyday life: making original art accessible, portable, and inseparable from the rituals that sustain us.
